You are looking for a fancy Slideshow to improve your Blog’s/Website’s Design? This is perfect for you! Front Slider includes as many Featured Posts as you like. You can define a Image for every Post/Page. It shows an excerpt, date, time and number of comments for every Post.

Installation
- Upload /front-slider/ to your Plugin directory (wp-content/plugins/)
- Go to the ‚Plugins‘ Page of your Administration Area and activate the Plugin.
- Go to Settings/Front Slider and customize the Slider to your needs.
- Add shortcode [frontslider] to any post/page or
- place
<?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/front-slider/front-slider.php');?>
anywhere in your template file.
- Choose posts/pages easily through a checkbox that is placed directly under the editor (edit/publish backend).
- Regenerate your Thumbnails with „Regenerate Thumbnails“ – Plugin.

irgendwie läuft das bei mir nicht so richtig. Eigentlich gar nicht.
Der Aufruf der php -datei steht im Template, ein Artikel mit Feld ist auch angelegt.
Alles wunderbar, bloß keine Slideshow.
Irgendwelche Tipps??

leider fehlt jeglicher text, habe alle plugins deaktiviert,eingefügt habe ich euren link in die index.php in meinem theme verzeichnis gleich unter dem php get_header …any ideas

es wird ja text angezeigt, jedoch nur ein Wort. Schau mal in den Einstellungen des Front Sliders bei „Text length“ da solltest du die Anzahl der Buchstaben eingeben, die ausgegeben werden sollen.

Ja ja, ich weiss ich hatte die letzten Tage aufgrund meiner Dummheit bzw Blindheit mich hilfesuchend an Euch gewandt … und jedesmal war es mein Fehler ….
das liegt nun hinter mir ;-))
ich habe eben auf einer meiner Seiten euer super plugin installiert und es ging nicht …. habe gesucht und gesucht … und schlieslich herausgefunden woran es liegt … Euer Plugin verträgt sich nicht mit der NextGen Smooth Gallery … habt Ihr eine Idee …..

I noticed that when I limit the number of posts in the plugin settings (e.g. 3 posts), it limits the number of posts in the whole page, not only the slider, and ignores the wordpress settings in „Reading“ section where I limited the number of posts to 10. Moreover, when I try to click on the link of „next posts“ it doesn’t go to the next page and only redisplay the same 3 posts. This problem can be produced in a custom theme and the default WP theme, basically any theme.
Any fix for this?

is it possible to change this so that when you click on the pictures it takes you to the page instead of sliding around?

Nice plugin, however there was an error in IE on line 319 char 49 if(oh==h){clearInterval(e.si)}else{if(oh!=h){e.style.height=oh+(Math.ceil(Math.abs(h-oh)/s)*hd)+’px‘}}
„!“ in (oh!=h) is not needed, when the (!) is removed, no error will be shown.

Love the plug-in, but the thumbnails aren’t showing up for me, and the arrows to scroll through them don’t appear to work… anyone else having this issue?

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to re-autostart it, I mean, you click on a thumbnail, the slide stops for a while, but I would like it to restart after some small amout of time, to keep it rolling. Clues? thanks, I love the plugin, it’s the best I’ve found.

Hi, I have the plug-in displaying exactly where I need it but I’m struggling to understand where teh images go and how the text can be modified? I’m basically just seeing a blank Slider template. Any help would be great, thanks.
